A MASSIVE MASSIVE THANK YOU

Wow what a weekend, a big big big thank you to all that came and our amazing bands, performers and market stalls. London Remixed went off with an almighty BANG and we CANNOT wait until next years launch event!

Last weekend was just a mere snippet of what we have to offer you all, and here at HQ we have already started fine tweaking and evaluating for next years main event.

We have had our first lot of photos through which are all loaded onto our Global Local website, see HERE
Have a look and see if you can see your face in the crowd! We will be expecting many many more photos, so KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED! And anything we will be receiving we will be putting straight onto our website AND our facebook.

I would also like to introduce all of our competition winners:

  • Best festival photo award goes to Martin Maynard with this photo and brilliant story behind it:

"Backstage at Shangrila working as stewards we delight in taking care of punters who have taken a bit to much. Here we have Polly one of our steward angles helping this chap, who had been fished out of the mud, sleep it off. He was returned to the party an hour later."

Well done Martin you have won yourself 2 tickets to a major UK festival

  • Best festival outfit goes to Charlotte Dewar who has won herself 2 tickets to Green Gathering 2012. Well done Charlotte!

  • The Remix draw competition to win 2 tickets to White Minks New Years Eve party was won by Chaz John Ross.

Well done everyone we will be getting in touch with you very shortly.

We were also very lucky to get the awesome crew from Hotxton FM  at London Remixed all day.

They will be playing highlights from the day ALL WEEK, however TODAY  you can catch the WHOLE DAY'S live broadcast from 9am until 7pm.

Once again we want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all that came, took part and had a good time partying with us. We look forward to seeing you all next year when the party really begins with London Remixed Festival launching its way into East London as a multi venue festival after party!

We had a great time and we hope you did too, the night left us feeling all warm and fuzzy and pondering "why cant there be a disco lift in every building!"

Katy Carr and Stompin' Dave, our spectacular solo's

Remixers,

Its been SO busy in the office today, lots of printing and cutting and laminating and thats just the start of it. But we have managed to squeeze in a bit of time to bring to you two of our awsome artists who will be playing on Saturday, (check the line up HERE).

So lets start with KATY CARR, one of most beloved artists....

"Katy Carr heralds the arrival of a fresh and unique talent. An eccentric and eclectic writer of sensual and sexy self -penned folk songs, delivered with verve and humour.  Expect the gentle tone of a Spitfire Mk 1 as it soars with balletic grace in the skies above and maybe the roaring of a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500K racing around the Berliner Ring in the midday heat...."

Please visit her HERE

STOMPIN' DAVE

Being Described as "One of the world’s greatest performers" by  Maverick Magazine, Stompin' Dave has had a fantastic year playing his own form of American roots music on guitar, five-string banjo, fiddle, piano, harmonica, vocals & tap dancing.

"Dave specializes in American roots music including old-time, bluegrass, blues, country blues, folk, vintage country & hillbilly. Traditional songs & tunes, originals & covers"

Guaranteed to be the life and soul of the party, your going to have a whale of a time with this one!

Check out all that he does HERE

London Remixed is just around the corner, buy your tickets and join the party!!!

See you all very soon Remixers
